Croeso! (Welcome in Welsh) to our beautiful 19th century cottage in Llanybydder snuggled deep in the Teifi Valley in West Wales.
Originally a traditional Welsh farmhouse, Dolau Canol has been sympathetically restored by one of Wales’ leading conservation architects and is both homely and “green”. It is lovingly decorated with beautiful and historic Welsh textiles, some which would have been made locally. We can comfortably accommodate up to six people and we are dog friendly too.
With over 2 miles of private fishing on the River Teifi and access to even more wild fishing, Dolau Canol is an idyllic destination for both experienced and novice fishing enthusiasts. So, whether you’re into walking, bird-watching or just looking to chill out Dolau Canol is a perfect rural retreat.
“Everything was so lovely to arrive to thank you – the Welsh Cakes went down a treat and were such a thoughtful touch (and the fresh flowers were lovely too).
We love this part of Wales, whatever the weather, and the house is so welcoming that we know we are going to have a great time.” The Adamsons
“We loved the cottage from the moment we arrived. The kids loved all of the wildlife and animals so close by” – The Whitcombes
“What a lovely, well-equipped cottage. Not very far from home for us, but it has felt like a real break. So much outside space for the kids and inside, cosy and spacious. Diolch” – the Jones Family, Brecon.
